GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game to the Oberlin Yeomen Saturday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome, 15-6.
Jeffrey Karnoff (Ringoes, NJ/Hunterdon Central) paced Thiel with three goals.
JJ Raab (Butler, Pa./Butler) also tallied three points with two goals and an assist.
Griffin Cappelletti led Oberlin with six points (3G, 3A). Thomas Berle Carman scored two goals and added an assist for a 3-point game.
Cole O'Connor (Midlothian, Va./James River) made 20 saves for Thiel while Calvin Filson made 10 saves for Oberlin.
Thiel (1-1) will take on the Hilbert Hawks on the road on Saturday. The non-conference game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
