GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game to the Alfred Saxons Thursday night at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome, 21-6.
Kenny Hill (Inwood, N.Y./Lawrence) paced the Tomcats with a pair of goals.
Dylan Waskiewicz (York, Pa./Red Lion) also recorded two points (1G, 1A) while leading the team with five ground balls.
Cale Donegan led Alfred with seven points (5G, 2A) while Patrick Brewer (3G, 1A) and Noah Soriano (2G, 2A) recorded four points apiece.
Cole O'Connor (Midlothian, Va./James River) and
Michael Purnell (Tipp City, Ohio/Bethel) combined to make 16 saves for Thiel. Gage Ponsetti and Scott Kimiecik combined to make six saves for Alfred.
The Tomcats (1-2) will host the Marietta Pioneers (2-0) at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome on Saturday. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
