PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Thiel College men's basketball team was defeated on the road Tuesday by the Division II Lake Erie College Storm, 91-55.
 
Chima Omeihe (Lake Worth, Fla./Park Vista Community) paced Thiel with 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Daquan Simmons (Capitol Heights, Md./Central) scored nine points to go along with five rebounds. Michael Ricks (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland School of Architecture and Design) also contributed nine points.
 
Gabe Kynard led the Storm with 16 points, six rebounds and three steals. Kevin Peterson and Jackson Burdyshaw scored 11 points apiece.
 
The Tomcats will host the Bethany Bison Saturday at Beeghly Gymnasium. The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
