WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team swept the Washington & Jefferson Presidents in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road Tuesday, 3-0.
The Tomcats defeated the Presidents 25-20, 25-23, 25-16.

Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) recorded 43 assists on the night to match her season-best.
Natalie Zucco (Cleveland, Ohio/North Royalton), who was named the PAC Player of the Week on Monday, tallied 15 digs and 14 kills.
Rebecca Dougherty (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank) contributed 12 kills while
Taylor Williams (Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley) registered 24 digs.
Raquel McDonald (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) came up with nine kills while
Alexis Orton (North East, Pa./North East) notched nine digs.
Makenzie Coughlin paced W&J with 22 digs. Mallory O'Brien recorded 18 assists and 10 digs.
The Tomcats have won five straight PAC matches. Thiel also defeated W&J in straight sets on Saturday at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Thiel will play a tri-match on the road Saturday at Geneva College. The Tomcats will face the Geneva Golden Tornadoes at 11 a.m. before taking on the Westminster Titans at 1 p.m.
