WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team lost a 5-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference game to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on Saturday.
After being down by two late in the first half Andreas Hauge Jonassen (Stavanger, Nor/) trimmed the Waynesburg lead down to 2-1 in the 37th minute.
The Yellow Jackets scored three unanswered goals in the second half to secure the win.
Defensively Noah Brieck (Kensington, Ohio/United Local ) recorded eight saves during his time in net.
The Tomcats are back in action on Tuesday when they host the Chatham Cougars. The PAC matchup is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
