BETHANY, W. Va. – The Thiel College men's soccer team lost a 1-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference game to the Bethany Bison on Saturday.
Both teams would battle for the first lead of the game in the first half but would remain scoreless heading into the second half of the game.
Ramiro Veiga scored the only goal of the game for the Bison in the 51st minute of the game.
Dylan Ralston (Joppa, Md./Perry Hall), Evan Young (Bryans Road, Md. /Henry E. Lackey), Adreas Hauge Jonassen, Connor Swatts (Greenwood, Ind./Whiteland Community) and Brock Newsome (Clyde, Ohio/Clyde) all recorded shots on goal in the loss.
Devin Weisbarth (Akron, Ohio/Norton) tallied nine saves during his time in net.
The Tomcats are back in action Wednesday, Oct. 23rd when they host the Washington and Jefferson Presidents. The PAC contest is set to start at 5 p.m.
