BETHANY, W.Va. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match 3-0 on the road Thursday to the Bethany Bison.
The Bison won 25-21, 25-23, 27-25.
Natalie Zucco (Cleveland, Ohio/North Royalton) paced the Tomcats with a match-best 12 kills.
Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) handed out 18 assists while recording 10 digs.
Taylor Williams (Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley) chipped in with 10 digs while Kyle Eaton tallied nine digs and seven kills.
Katie Sparks led Bethany with 16 digs and 10 kills. Alaina Torres notched 19 assists while Madelaine Blanco tallied 16 digs.
Thiel is 7-3 in its last 10 matches. Thiel defeated Bethany 3-2 at Beeghly Gymnasium on Oct. 1.
The Tomcats, who are 7-5 in PAC play on the season, will host the Chatham Cougars Saturday at Beeghly Gymnasium. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The Cougars defeated the Tomcats 3-0 at home on Sept. 24.
