BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Thiel College women's volleyball took two games at the final day of the Brockport Invitational on Saturday.
The Tomcats opened the day with a 3-0 sweep of SUNY-Potsdam (25-22, 25-20, 25-12).
Freshman outside hitter
Morgan Harayda (Erie, Pa./Harborcreek) collected double-digit kills and freshman setter
Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) dished a team-high 23 assists in the three set victory.
Thiel continued to roll in match number two as they swept Cazenovia College 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-8).
Kasey Kohler (New Springfield, Ohio/Springfield Local),
Taylor Williams (Tuscarawas, Ohio/Indian Valley), and
Rebecca Dougherty (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank) all collected eight kills in the sweep.
Hannah Rossman (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) recorded a game-high 30 assists.
With the pair of wins, Thiel improves to 3-6 on the season.
The Tomcats return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Bethany College for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup beginning at 7:00 p.m.
