BRADFORD, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team earned a 2-1 non-conference win on the road in double-overtime over the Pitt Bradford Panthers Monday.
 
With the win, Thiel improved to 2-0 for the first time since 2009.
 
After the Tomcats took the lead in the 66^th minute, Panther Dakota Graham evened the score near the 73^rd minute.
 
The score remained 1-1 through the end of regulation and the first overtime period.
 
Freshman forward Bradley Novak (Wellington, Ohio/Keystone) scored the game-winner for the Tomcats on a header with less than three minutes remaining in double-overtime. Cole Duskey (Orrville, Ohio/Orrville) picked up the assist on Novak's first collegiate goal.
 
Christian Conrad (Barberton, Ohio/Central Catholic) made six saves for Thiel while Derrick Brock denied five shots for Pitt Bradford.
 
Thiel will face Pitt Greensburg on the road Thursday. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
