Thiel opened the day by getting swept by Geneva College 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-22) before bouncing back in the second match of the day as they took Waynesburg University down in straight sets 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-17),
 
Against the Yellow Jackets, Morgan Harayda (Erie, Pa./Harborcreek) led the Tomcats with a team-high eight kills and a match-high six aces in the win. Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) dished out a match-high 27 assists.
 
Defensively, Macy Jordan (York, Pa./York Suburban) collected three blocks and Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) racked up 15 digs.
 
With the result, Thiel now sits at 8-12 overall and 3-5 in the PAC.
