GREENVILLE, Pa, - The Thiel College women's volleyball team collected two Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) wins at Beeghly Gymnasium on Saturday.

Thiel collected a four-set victory over Chatham University to start the day as the Tomcat offense was firing on all cylinders. Three Tomcats collected double-digit kills.
Jessica Kelley (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) recorded a game-high 15 kills, well
Kasey Kohler (New Springfield, Ohio/Springfield Local) and
Morgan Harayda (Erie, Pa./Harborcreek) added 12 and 11 kills, respectively.

Courtney Grubbs (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) dished out a game-high 48 assists and
Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) collected 25 digs in the four-set victory.

Thiel kept rolling in match number two against Saint Vincent College as the Tomcats swept the Bearcats in three sets.

Shelby Friedel (Columbia Station, Ohio/Columbia) led the Tomcats with a game-high 12 kills and four blocks. Grubbs and Allen led the match in assists and digs, respectively.

With a pair of wins on the day, Thiel improves to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in the PAC.

The Tomcats return to Beeghly Gymnasium on Tuesday as they host La Roche College and Allegheny College for a pair of nonconference matchups. Thiel will face off against La Roche at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and then will play Allegheny at approximately 7:15 p.m.
