GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) game to the Hanover Panthers Sunday at Alumni Stadium, 21-6.
Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) paced the Tomcats with four goals.
Kristyn Kinner (Alba, Pa./Troy) and
Megan Sweeny (Freeport, Pa./Freeport Area) chipped in with one goal apiece.
Hanover's Rachel Davis recorded game-bests in goals (5) and points (8). Mallory Fogus contributed six points (4G, 2A) for the Panthers.
Kyra Farrell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) made 14 saves for the Tomcats. Amanda Mousa and Julia Long combined to make 12 saves for the Panthers.
The Tomcats will close out the 2018 season Saturday when they host the Franklin Grizzlies at Alumni Stadium. The ORLC game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
