GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost an Ohio River Lacrosse (ORLC) contest Wednesday night to the Saint Vincent Bearcats at Alumni Stadium, 23-10.
 
Mackenzie Quinn (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) and Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) led the Tomcats with four goals apiece. Lexi Callander (Knox, Pa./Keystone) and Kristyn Kinner (Alba, Pa./Troy) also contributed one goal apiece.
 
Maggie Nelson led the Bearcats with 11 goals. She also recorded six assists to finish the game with 17 points. Naomi Schwaiger recorded 13 points (9G, 4A).
 
Kyra Farrell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) made 13 saves for the Tomcats. Maria Franey made 14 saves for the Bearcats.
 
Thiel will host the Hanover Panthers Sunday at Alumni Stadium. The ORLC game is set to begin at 1 p.m.
