GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Thiel College men's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Westminster Titans Monday at Beeghly Gymnasium, 77-63.
Alonzo Brown (Largo, Fla./Pinellas Park) led the Tomcats with 13 points while securing seven rebounds and blocking a pair of shots. Mert Ozkaynak (Izmir, Turkey/T.C. Williams) and Tyrese Robinson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) scored 12 points apiece while Josh Lumbus (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Jarret Vrabel tallied a double-double for the Titans with a game-best 19 points and 11 rebounds. Lloyd Chatham scored 18 points while Blake Payne scored 17 points and corralled eight rebounds. Also for the Titans, Austin Armwood scored 11 points and Cameron Kane-Johnson pulled down eight rebounds.
The Tomcats will return to action Wednesday when they take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats on the road. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
