PARK HILLS, Ky. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team fell 3-0 (13-25, 21-25, 18-25) to Thomas More College, Friday afternoon on the road in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match.
 
The Saints came out strong setting the tone for the match taking the first set 25-13.
 
Thiel would battle in the second set but still dropped the set 25-21.
 
The deciding third set went to the Saints as well as they completed the sweep and took the match with a 25-18 victory in the final set.
 
As a team the Tomcats had the advantage in blocks with a total of three in the match.
 
With the loss, Thiel falls to 7-9 overall and 1-4 in the PAC.
 
The Tomcats will be back in action on Tuesday Sept. 26 in Grove City, Pa. for a PAC tri-match. Thiel will face Geneva College at 6 p.m. followed by Grove City College at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
