GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team was defeated 19-5 in Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) play Saturday by the Washington & Jefferson Presidents at Alumni Stadium.
 
Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) led the Tomcats with three goals and an assist (4 points). Jennifer Rickens (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) and Erica Auberzinski (Odenton, Md./Arundel) also scored one goal apiece.
 
Monica Ewansik led the Presidents with nine points (5G, 4A) while Caroline Kallos tallied seven points (6G, 1A).
 
Kyra Farrell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) made 11 saves for Thiel. Michaela Mulokey and Sara Maute combined to make three saves for Washington & Jefferson.
 
The Tomcats will conclude their 2017 season Sunday when they host the Thomas More Saints at Alumni Stadium. The ORLC game will begin at 1 p.m.
