LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team suffered a 21-3 Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) loss on the road Saturday to the Transylvania Pioneers.
 
Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley), Mackenzie Quinn (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) and Erica Auberzinski (Odenton, Md./Arundel) paced the Tomcats with one goal apiece.
 
Emma Oliver recorded nine points (7G, 2A) for the Pioneers.
 
Kyra Farrell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) made eight saves for Thiel. Mackenzie Dent made two saves for Transylvania.
 
The Tomcats will take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats on the road Wednesday. The ORLC match is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
