GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College baseball team swept a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader over Bethany College on Saturday. Thiel won the first game 10-1 and the second game 8-4.

The Tomcats scored in the second as Joe Mott (Kinsman, Ohio/Badger) singled to left field to drive in Alex Lam (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) to make it 1-0 after two.

The game remained tied at 1-1 until the sixth as Lam walked with the bases loaded to score Nick Grice (McKeesport, Pa./McKeesport) to make it 2-1. The Tomcats were not done in the inning as Mott hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Daniel Patrice (Munich, Germany/EST) and Andrew Giesey (Penn, Pa./Penn Trafford) tripled to left scoring two that put the Tomcats up 5-1 after six.
