GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel Tomcats lost a three-set match Tuesday night to Juniata College.
The Eagles swept the first three sets of the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) match 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.
Mitchell Patterson (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) led the Tomcats with 9 kills, while
Cody Patterson (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) had six kills and 11 digs.
The Eagles improved to 6-3 in the CVC with the win. Quinn Peterson led Juniata with a match-high 15 kills and four blocks. Also, Michael Young had a match-high 35 assists.
The loss dropped the Tomcats to 6-14, 2-8 in the CVC.
The Tomcats will return to action Tuesday, March 28th when they host Penn State - Altoona at Beeghly Gymnasium. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
