PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Thiel College women's volleyball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference match in five sets to Chatham University on Monday night.
The Cougars jumped and took the first set 25-22 before the Tomcats answered to take each of the next two sets by scores of 25-23 and 25-22.
Thiel held a 2-1 set advantage over Chatham before dropping the final two sets 25-19 and 18-16.
Jessica Kelley (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) and
Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) lead the Tomcats with 13 kills each and
Macy Jordan (York, Pa./York Suburban) added 10 kills on the night.
Olivia Scott (Willoughby, Ohio/Willoughby South) dished out a game-high 44 assists as
Megan Sweeny (Freeport, Pa./Freeport Area) collected a game-high 33 digs.
The Tomcats will be back in action on Wednesday night at Beeghly Gymnasium as they face PAC opponent Waynesburg University, match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
