NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team dropped a four-set match (20-25, 15-25, 25-14, 13-25) to the Westminster Titans in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Thursday evening.
Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) led the Tomcats with her eighth double-double of the season. Allen had 11 kills and 12 digs in the loss.
Hannah Rossman (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) notched 13 assists and 10 digs for her fifth double-double of the season.
Also for the Tomcats,
Shelby Friedel (Columbia Station, Ohio/Columbia) had nine kills while
Macy Jordan (York, Pa./York Suburban) and
Lenora Boyer (Delaware, Ohio/Delaware Christian) collected seven and six kills apiece.
Megan Sweeny (Freeport, Pa./Freeport Area) dug out 17 Titans attacks and also dropped in two service aces.
Lexie Yoho paced the Titans with 10 kills and seven blocks.
The Tomcats (6-11, 1-6 PAC) will take a break from the PAC schedule when they travel to Pittsburgh on Thursday, Oct. 6 to take on the La Roche Redhawks.
