WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) game 14-3 to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents Wednesday evening at Alexandre Stadium in Washington, Pa.
Paige Scherer (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley),
Megan Williams (Lusby, Md./Patuxent) and
Jennifer Rickens (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) each scored a goal for the Tomcats.
Paige Onomastico (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley ) recorded one assist.
Ashley Bulger led the Presidents with seven goals while Caroline Kallos scored four goals and added two assists.
Asia Wallace (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) made 15 saves for the Tomcats. Michaela Mulokey denied seven shots for the Presidents.
The Tomcats will return to action Sunday when they take on the Transylvania Pioneers at Frank B. Fuhrer Field on the campus of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa. The ORLC game is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
