WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team's seven-game winning streak came to an end Sunday with an 18-6 Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) loss on the road to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents.
Aaron Parry (Erie, Pa./McDowell) paced the Tomcats with two goals while
Edward Kargbo (Alexandria, Va./T.C. Williams) and
Brennen O'Shea (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seneca Valley) each recorded three points with a goal and two assists.
Kyle Heinig led the Presidents with seven goals and three assists while Zach Fredericks scored six goals and added a pair of helpers.
Charles Wistner (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) made 11 saves for the Tomcats. Jacob Succop and Elijah Long combined to make 17 saves for the Presidents.
The Tomcats (7-2, 2-1 ORLC) are scheduled to host the Westminster Titans Wednesday. The ORLC game is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
