OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team fell in three sets (10-25, 16-25, 20-25) to No. 10 ranked Stevenson University in a Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) contest Saturday afternoon.
Regan Hess (Burlington, Wis./Wetosha Central) paced the Tomcats against the Mustangs recording a new career-high in kills with 14 kills on 28 attacks. Hess also collected three block and a service ace.
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) dished out 20 assists while digging out seven Mustang attacks and adding four kills.
Kyle Pottieger and Patrick Schuyler each had nine kills for the Mustangs.
The Tomcats will be back in action after Spring Break on Thursday, March 17 when they take on the Penn State Behrend Lions in a non-conference matchup. Action is slated to begin at 7 p.m. from Beeghly Gymnasium.
