GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team dropped a three set decision (25-16, 27-25, 25-15) to the Penn State Behrend Lions in a non-conference matchup Thursday night at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Regan Hess (Burlington, Wis./Wetosha Central) notched a match-high 12 kills in the loss while
Thad Paunovich (Avonmore, Pa./Kiski Area) recorded nine kills.
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) dished out 27 assists for the Tomcats. Defensively,
Nate Roche (Cochranton, Pa./Cochranton) led the Tomcats with 10 digs and three blocks while adding two aces.
Eric Theiss led the Lions with 11 kills.
The Tomcats will have a quick turn around as they head down to Arlington, Va. to take on the Marymount Saints in a Continental Volleyball Conference match. The action is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
