BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team was defeated on the road Saturday by the Medaille Mavericks, 14-2.
 
Jennifer Rickens (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) led the Tomcats with a goal and an assist. Also for Thiel, Courtney Fatta (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) scored a goal and Paige Onomastico (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley ) tallied one assist. Kyra Farrell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Oakland Catholic) made eight saves for the Tomcats.
 
Mackenzie Berger led the Mavericks with five goals and an assist.
 
The Tomcats will travel to Meadville, Pa., Thursday to face the Allegheny Gators. The non-conference game is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
