GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team fell in three sets (21-25, 23-25, 23-25) to the Juniata Eagles in a Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) match Tuesday night at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Cody Patterson (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) recorded a team-high 12 kills on 29 attacks for the Tomcats while adding six digs.
Thad Paunovich (Avonmore, Pa./Kiski Area) and
Regan Hess (Burlington, Wis./Wetosha Central) both knocked down six kills. Paunovich collected a team-high nine digs while Hess had three total blocks in the loss.
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) handed out 26 assists and dug out six Eagle attacks.
Quinn Peterson had 15 kills for the Eagles.
The Tomcats will wrap up their four-game conference homestand on Saturday, Feb. 13 when they take on the Stevenson Mustangs. Action is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
