GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's basketball team suffered an 82-67 defeat to the Saint Vincent Bearcats in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest on Senior Night Wednesday at Beeghly Gymnasium.
 
Khari Bess (Waldorf, Md./Maurice J. McDonough) recorded 27 points for the Tomcats, a new career-high. Bess shot 9-of-13 from the field, knocked down four three-pointers and went a perfect 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. Bess also added five assists and two steals.
 
Luke Kochka (Monroeville, Pa. /Gateway) also scored double figures for the Tomcats, notching 19 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Clandell Cetoute (Wellington, Fla./Wellington) and Leandra Jackson (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) both had six points while Cetoute pulled down seven rebounds.
 
Pat Jones led the Bearcats with a game-high 23 points.
 
The Tomcats will wrap up the regular season on the road on Saturday when they take on PAC rival Grove City. Tip is scheduled for 3 p.m.
