ASHLAND, Ohio – The Thiel College men's basketball team suffered a 94-56 loss to Division II Ashland University Eagles Friday.

LeAndre Jackson (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) led the Tomcats in the loss, scoring 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting and 4-of-6 from the free throw line. Alonzo Brown (Largo, Fla./Pinellas Park) also notched double-digit points for the Tomcats. Brown netted 11 points while grabbing seven rebounds.

Avril Campbell (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) tallied eight points and Clandell Cetoute (Wellington, Fla./Wellington) pulled down seven rebounds.

Boo Osbourne paced the Eagles with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Tomcats (6-3) will resume conference play on Thursday, Jan. 5 when they travel down to Washington to take on the Washington & Jefferson Presidents. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
