GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team fell to the Penn State-Altoona Lions 4-1 in a non-conference game Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium.
Dugan Paxton (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) scored the lone Tomcat goal in the 82nd minute off an assist by Dominic Walker (Kent, Ohio/Field). Dalton Young (Salem, Ohio/West Branch) made four saves in the Tomcat loss. Michael Carrigan scored a goal and registered an assist for the Lions.
The Tomcats (0-2) will travel to Ada, Ohio to take on the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears on Friday, Sept. 11. The game is slated for a 7:30 p.m. start.
