PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball earned its first Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory in a three set (25-12, 25-21, 25-18) over the Chatham Cougars Thursday evening.

Senior Bailey Holmes (Roaming Shores, Ohio/Grand Valley) paced the Tomcats with six kills on 11 attacks. Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) and Lenora Boyer (Delaware, Ohio/Delaware Christian) notched five kills respectively, while Allen added 10 digs.

Ashley Baer (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs), defensively, recorded a match-high 18 digs in the win.

Katelyn Gonos had a team-high five kills for the Cougars.

The Tomcats will host a tri-match on Saturday, Sept. 26 against the Washington and Jefferson Presidents and the Saint Vincent Bearcats. Action is slated to begin at 11 a.m. inside the Beeghly Gymansium.
