NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team suffered two losses in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tri-match against the Westminster Titans (9-25, 22-25, 25-27) and the Bethany Bison (15-25, 14-25, 7-25).
Lenora Boyer (Delaware, Ohio/Delaware Christian) and
Hannah Budzowski (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) each led the Tomcat attack against the Titans with seven kills. Budzowski added four total blocks.
Shelby Friedel (Columbia Station, Ohio/Columbia) recorded six kills and two blocks.
Hannah Rossman (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) dished out 23 assists and notched four digs.
Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) led the Tomcat defense with 14 digs.
Macy Jordan (York, Pa./York Suburban) had a team-high five kills against the Bison. Defensively, Rossman and Allen each notched nine digs while Rossman had 13 assists.
The Tomcats will be back in action Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. when they travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. to take on the Chatham Cougars in a PAC contest.
