ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Thiel College women's lacrosse team lost a non-conference road match Thursday to the Augustana Vikings, 21-6.
 
Emily Harrigan (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) paced the Tomcats with three goals while Cassy Mahdi (Odenton, Md./Arundel) netted two markers. Paige Onomastico (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley ) also notched a two-point game with a goal and an assist.
 
Abby Spriggs (Westminster, Md./Westminster) made 12 saves for Thiel.
 
Hilary Kargl led the Vikings with four goals while Emily Handrahan scored three goals.
 
The Tomcats (6-5, 5-0 ORLC) will return to action Friday when they take on the Kalamazoo Hornets at Thorson-Lucken Field on the campus of Augustana College. The non-conference contest is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
