GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel Tomcats improved to 5-0 in the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) Sunday after defeating the Thomas More Saints at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome on Senior Day, 19-3.
The Tomcats raced to an early 8-0 lead over the Saints and never looked back in earning their fifth conference victory of the season.
Cassy Mahdi (Odenton, Md./Arundel) (4G, 2A) and
Emily Harrigan (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) (2G, 4A) led the Tomcats with six points apiece Sunday. Mahdi also controlled 11 draws.

Jennifer Rickens (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) scored four goals and added an assist while
Jenna Simanovsky (Plainsboro, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro North) scored three goals and tallied one assist.
Sharr Martin (San Diego, Calif./The Preuss School UCSD) had a four-point game (2G, 2A) while
Hannah Stelmach (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) scored two markers.
Abby Spriggs (Westminster, Md./Westminster) earned the win in 30 minutes of work in the first half.
Amy Boxer (Erie, Pa./Villa Maria) also made two saves for the Tomcats in the second half.
Tori Liles paced the Saints with two goals.
The Tomcats (6-4, 5-0 ORLC) will travel to Rock Island, Ill. on Thursday to take on the Augustana Vikings in a non-conference contest at 7 p.m.
