GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team rolled to a three set (25-15, 25-17, 25-20) victory over the Penn State – Altoona Lions in a non-conference match Tuesday. 
Alex Ciepiela (Marilla, N.Y./Iroquios Central) led the Tomcat attack with nine kills on 13 attacks. Ciepiela also had six digs and three block assists. 
Michael Whitelock (Pittsburgh, Pa./Schenley) had seven kills on eight attacks and also assisted on three blocks. 
Also for Thiel, 
John Turner (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) and 
Dylan Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Elderton) had six and five kills respectively. 
Charlie Tindall (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) and 
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) combined for 32 assists. 
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) had nine digs. 
Matt Huey had a game-high 10 kills for the Lions. 
The Tomcats (10-11) will return to action this weekend to embark on a two-game Continental Volleyball Conference road trip out east to take on Cairn University and Rutgers-Newark.
