HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team was defeated in three sets (13-25, 23-25, 20-25) to the No. 4 ranked Juniata College Eagles in a Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) contest.
Dylan Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Elderton) had a game-high 13 kills on 29 attacks. He also recorded a service ace and assisted on two blocks.
Charlie Tindall (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) and
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) each assisted on 11 attacks while Tindall had two service aces.
Also for Thiel,
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) had seven digs and
John Turner (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) had six digs on defense.
Paul Kuhn had a double-double for Juniata with 12 kills and 13 digs.
The Tomcats (9-10, 3-5 CVC) will return to action on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. when they take on the Eastern Mennonite University Royals in a CVC match.
