GREENVILLE, Pa. The Thiel College men's volleyball team cruised to a three set (25-17, 25-22, 26-24) victory over the Penn State-Behrend Lions inside Beeghly Gymnasium Thursday night.

Leading the Tomcat attack was
Michael Whitelock (Pittsburgh, Pa./Schenley) with 12 kills on 15 attacks. Whitelock also had a block solo and four block assists.
John Turner (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) finished two kills shy of a double-double with eight kills and a team-high 12 digs.
Dylan Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Elderton) also finished with eight kills while
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) had eight digs.
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and
Charlie Tindall (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) teamed up to give out 20 and 14 assists respectively.

Ty Sheehan had 10 kills for the Lions.

The Tomcats (7-7, 1-2 CVC) will resume conference play on Saturday, February 21 when they head south to take on the Stevenson University Mustangs. The action is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
