OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team fell to the Stevenson University Mustangs 3-1 (17-25, 24-26, 19-25, 13-25) in Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) match Saturday.
Dylan Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Elderton) recorded his second double-double of the season with 13 kills and 11 digs. Lasher also added a block solo and three block assists.
Also for Thiel,
Alex Ciepiela (Marilla, N.Y./Iroquios Central) and
Michael Whitelock (Pittsburgh, Pa./Schenley) both had 10 kills while Whitelock was involved in six blocks (three solo blocks, three block assists). On defense,
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) had 17 digs.
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and
Charlie Tindall (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) had 23 and 16 assists respectively for the Tomcats.
Kyle Pottleger and Patrick Schuyler each had 15 kills a piece for the Mustangs.
The Tomcats (7-8, 1-3 CVC) will be back in action to take on the Marymount Saints in Arlington, Va. on Friday, Fenruary 28 at 7 p.m.
