GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team swept the Marymount University Saints in three sets (25-21, 25-23, 27-25) in a Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) contest Friday night.
Michael Whitelock (Pittsburgh, Pa./Schenley) had a game-high 11 kills on 16 attempts. Whitelock also assisted on three blocks in the middle.
Dylan Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Elderton) had nine kills and also added two service aces and assisted on four blocks.
John Turner (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) had six kills and five digs.
Zach Rombach (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding) had 23 assists and nine digs while
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) had 10 digs for the Tomcats.
Graham Clark had 10 kills and Erich Bratke had 29 assists for the Saints.
The Tomcats (6-5, 1-1 CVC) will be back in action tomorrow at 3 p.m. as they take on the Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders in a conference matchup.
