GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team dropped a three set decision (25-27, 18-25, 15-25) to the Lakeland College Muskies on the final day of the 2015 Thiel College Invitational Sunday afternoon.
Dylan Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Elderton) and
Regan Hess (Burlington, Wis./Wetosha Central) each had nine kills in the game.
Michael Whitelock (Pittsburgh, Pa./Schenley) had eight kills on 16 attempts and also added two service aces.
John Turner (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) had six kills and two block assists while
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) recorded 10 digs.
Charlie Tindall (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) had 26 assists and seven digs for the Tomcats.
Alec Redlich had a game-high 15 kills for Lakeland.
Lasher was named to the All-Tournament team after having 36 kills, 18 digs, five block assists and two service aces for the weekend.
The Tomcats (3-3) will take part in the Golden Flyer Tournament, hosted by Nazareth College starting on Friday, February 6.
