GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball fell in three sets (25-16, 25-20, 25-21) to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Wolverines of Grove City Saturday afternoon.
 
Bailey Holmes (Roaming Shores, Ohio/Grand Valley) led the Tomcats with 10 kills on 19 swings. Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) and Lenora Boyer (Delaware, Ohio/Delaware Christian) each collected seven kills and a block assist while Allen added seven digs. Shelby Friedel (Columbia Station, Ohio/Columbia) had six kills and a block assist. Jenny Shelley (Port Allegany, Pa./Port Allegany) handed out 28 assists for the Tomcats.
 
Ashley Baer (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) recorded a team-high 19 digs and Megan Sweeny (Freeport, Pa./Freeport Area) had 14 digs defensively in the loss.
 
Laura Buchanan had 13 kills for the Wolverines.
 
The Tomcats will host the Geneva Golden Tornadoes on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. inside Beeghly Gymnasium.
