Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team fell in three sets (25-15, 25-18, 25-13) to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Tuesday night at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Jenny Shelley (Port Allegany, Pa./Port Allegany) earned her eighth double-double in the contest, securing 17 digs with 11 assists. Seniors
Danielle Gomula (Northfield, Ohio/Trinity) and
Hannah Budzowski (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) led the Tomcats with four kills apiece.
Three Tomcats collected double-digit digs in the loss. Along with Shelley,
Ashley Baer (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) recorded 22 digs and
Peyton Allen (Mineral Ridge, Ohio/Mineral Ridge) had 16 digs.
The Tomcats will travel to Crestview Hills, Ky. on Thursday, Oct. 29 to take on the Thomas More Saints. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
