Box Score ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Thiel College Tomcats were defeated 5-0 Tuesday on the road by the University of Mount Union Purple Raiders.
 
Five different Raiders scored in the game, including Brendan Luebbering, Jack Weber, Trever Wendel, Nathan Tirabassi and Jacob Dunn.
 
John O'Hare (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) made seven saves for the Tomcats while Brian Strawser made five saves for the Raiders. Jordan Lilley (Jamestown, Ohio/Greeneview) put two shots on goal for the Tomcats.
 
Thiel will open up Presidents' Athletic Conference play Friday when they host the Geneva Golden Tornadoes at Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
