Box Score HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Thiel College men's soccer team fell to the Hilbert Hawks on the road 4-2 in a non-conference matchup Saturday afternoon.

Senior forward Francis Ahia (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) scored two goals for the Tomcats. Ahia scored in the 27th minute on a header off a cross pass from senior Zach Kubec (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva). Ahia's second goal was an easy tip in off a cross feed from freshman John Thiel (Pickerington, Ohio/Bishop Hartley) in the 85th minute. Sophomore Dalton Young (Salem, Ohio/West Branch) made three saves in the loss.

Matt Hamister scored a hat trick and an assist for the Hawks. His first two goals were within the first 10 minutes of the game.

The Tomcats (2-5) will be back in action on Thursday Sept. 25 under Alumni Stadium's competition-level lights when they host the Pitt-Greensburg Panthers. The game is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m.
