Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Thiel College softball team dropped a pair of Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contests on the road Wednesday to the Thomas More Saints.
 
The Tomcats lost the first game of the doubleheader 4-0 before falling 9-0 in the second game in six innings.
 
Danielle Massengill (North Bend, Wash./Mt. Si), who was named the PAC Hitter of the Week Monday, led the Tomcats in the first game with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate. Thiel stranded eight base runners in the first game.
 
The Tomcats notched eight hits in the second game, the same number as the Saints, but suffered the loss 9-0 in six innings.
 
Massengill finished the day with three hits.
 
The Tomcats (12-12, 5-3 PAC) will return to action Saturday when they travel to Bethany, W.Va., to take on the Bison. The first game of the PAC doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
