Box Score DEFIANCE, Ohio –
Cassy Mahdi (Odenton, Md./Arundel) recorded nine points (7G, 2A) Saturday, tying the Thiel women's lacrosse program's all-time single-game points record, in a 17-4 road win over the Defiance Yellow Jackets.

Emily Harrigan (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) at the top of the single-game points list. Harrigan was the first to record nine points in a game, notching six goals and three assists in a 20-0 win over Franciscan University of Steubenville at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome on March 18, 2013.
The game was tied up 3-3 through 25 minutes of play in the first half Saturday. However, Thiel scored three unanswered goals over the remainder of the first half on markers by Harrigan, Mahdi and
Sharr Martin (San Diego, Calif./The Preuss School UCSD) to hold a 6-3 lead at the break.
Thiel went on to outscore Defiance in the second half, 11-1.
Mahdi led Thiel with nine points (6G, 3A) while
Beth Snider (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler Area) notched four goals and Harrigan scored three goals. Parker Smith paced Defiance with three goals.

Abby Spriggs (Westminster, Md./Westminster) made three saves and earned her sixth win of the season in 60 minutes of work.
The Tomcats (7-7) will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Waynesburg, Pa., to take on the Yellow Jackets at 5 p.m.
