Ahia paces Tomcats in loss at Albion

Ahia tallied a pair of scores in Thiel's loss to Albion
Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel men's lacrosse team suffered a 17-2 loss Saturday to the Albion College Brits.
 
The Brits set the tone for the game early, scoring 14 unanswered goals to open the contest.
 
The Tomcats trimmed Albion's lead in the fourth period, as Francis Ahia (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) tallied a pair of markers to cut the Brits lead to 14-2, but would get no closer the rest of the game.
 
Zach Hubbell led Albion with four goals and an assist while Tim Urso scored three goals and added three assists. Dylan Neal also scored three goals.

Richard Cannon (Allison Park, Pa./Shaler Area) made 15 saves for Thiel in 60 minutes of work. Jordan Hempfling earned the win for the Brits. He made five saves in 60 minutes in net.
 
Thiel (3-5) will host Franciscan University on Tuesday, April 1. The match is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
