GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, 25-15) victory over the visiting Chatham Cougars in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup Friday night.
Five Tomcats had more than four kills.
Veronica Brueggman (South Park, Pa./South Park) and
Danielle Gomula (Northfield, Ohio/Trinity) each had a game-high five kills for the Tomcats.
Bailey Holmes (Roaming Shores, Ohio/Grand Valley),
Lenora Boyer (Delaware, Ohio/Delaware Christian) and
Shaina Marini (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) each recorded four kills.
Morgan Reisz (Canonsburg, Pa./Bishop Canevin) dished out 10 assists.
Ashley Baer (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) and
Jessa Covine (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Maplewood) had three service aces in the victory.
Heathir McIntyre had four kills and 11 digs for the Cougars.
The Tomcats (11-15, 8-7 PAC) will be back in action Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. when they travel to Waynesburg University to take on the Yellow Jackets in a conference contest.
