GREENVILLE, Pa – The Thiel College men's soccer team was defeated 3-2 at Alumni Stadium Saturday in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest against the Saint Vincent Bearcats.

The Tomcats were trailing 2-0 when Francis Ahia (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) and Troy Elsea (Fowler, Ohio/Badger) knocked in goals about two minutes apart from each other in the second half. Jordan Lilley (Jamestown, Ohio/Greeneview) and Ray Hanzak (Madison, Ohio/Kent State University ) assisted on Ahia's goal in the 63rd minute while Lilley gave Elsea the pass that led to his game-tying goal in the 65th minute.

In the 75th minute, Chris Page put away the game-winning goal for the Bearcats just out of reach of goalkeeper Tyler Strite (Fayetteville, Pa./Shalom Christian).

Elsea's goal gave him sole possession of first place on the PAC leaderboard for goals with his ninth goal of the season passing Grove City's Seth Loew.

Brody Ruffner and Tyler Procter each had a goal and assist in the game for the Bearcats.

The Tomcats will be back in action Tuesday, Oct. 21 when they host the Bethany Bison under the lights at Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
