NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team was defeated on Wednesday by the Westminster Titans 5-2 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest.

Senior Troy Elsea (Fowler, Ohio/Badger) scored his eighth goal of the season in the 72nd minute off of an assist by John Thiel (Pickerington, Ohio/Bishop Hartley). Elsea is now tied for the PAC lead for goals (8) with Grove City's Seth Loew.

Marcus Gurgiolo scored two goals and added an assist for the Titans while Ethan McCarthy and Daniel Bishop each had a goal and an assist in the game.

The Tomcats return home on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. to take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats in a conference matchup.
